Announcements
  • 17th Mar, 2024 - We are delighted to say that we finally have four good squash courts that are open for use by all members and guests. This brings an end to a difficult few years for the club. The entire Myreside pavilion was closed following a fire in early 2020. The squash area of the building was not damaged, but the courts were completely closed while repairs took place to other parts of the building. Covid-19 stopped everyone…

About

The Watsonian Squash Rackets Club is a volunteer-run club in Edinburgh with three glass-backed squash courts and one court that does not have a glass-backed wall.

Everyone is welcome to join the club as a player. Please send all membership enquiries to watsoniansquash@gmail.com Unfortunately we cannot offer pay-to-play court usage.

Monthly box leagues are run to give all members the chance to play competitive (but friendly) matches against players of a similar standard.

We have several teams entered into the East of Scotland Squash leagues that run from September to March each year. Our teams are represented in all divisions from the elite at the top to the more modest players in the bottom division.

Our club coach, Jamie Henderson, runs weekly sessions for juniors on Saturday afternoons. He is also available for individual or group lessons. Please contact watsoniansquash@gmail.com or ehendersons11@gmail.com for more information about coaching.
