Come and join a fun singles tournament with a twist! Teams of 2 face off against one another, in a singles match, and you can tag your teammate at any point in the match to switch players! But be careful, each team is only allowed 3 tags during a match, so plan carefully when you are switching players!

Dates: Friday 30 Aug, starting 17h15 and Sat 31 Aug, starting 08h15. Teams must be able to play on Friday and Saturday.

Format & Draws: Teams will be grouped according to strength. The format will be Round Robin or Pools with a Cross-Pool Playout.
Cost: R200 per player / R400 per team
Ball: Double-yellow Dot ball. HA Green Dot ball may be required for stronger team players.
Reserves will only be allowed in the case of unavailability. Must of the same strength or lower strength.
Teams must be able to play on both Friday and Saturday.

General Information
1. Open to all players of all ages.
2. Teams are guaranteed 4 games during the event—one game on Friday evening, 3 games on Saturday.

Scoring
3. Scoring will be continuous play for 30 minutes, no rest period.
4. Games are par 15, with continuous scoring. Sudden death at 14-all.
5. Winning team gets a bonus point.
6. When the whistle blows at the end of 30 minutes, the team who has more than 11 points or is ahead in the game (if both teams have 11 points or more) wins the game. If the score is equal at the time of the whistle, the team who was going to serve next wins the game (if 11-all or higher). If both teams had a score less than 11 points in the final game, that game does not count.
7. If the games are equal, then the points must be counted, and the team with the most points gets the bonus point.

Tag Team change
8. Each team gets 3 tags which they must use during the 30-minute game time. So the playing order is Player 1 – Player 2 – Player 1 – Player 2. Each player must play twice, with player 1 starting the match, and player 2 finishing the match. All three tags must be used, however the teams have discretion when they want to use the tags.
9. A player can tag their other team member at any stage during a match, even in the middle of a game.
