The Tournament is a level 2 ranking event for masters rankings .
Where there are more than 8 in 35+ and 40+ players may have to play there first match from 2pm on the Friday afternoon. The Other groups will start at 4pm .
The only food available will be through the food package which and must be paid for on entry for the event. This includes evening meal Friday and Saturday and light lunch Saturday
Fitzwilliam is white clothing only for this event.
The Mespil Hotel is the preferred Hotel with a rate Executive rooms - €169.00 BB on 10th and €189.00 BB on 11th you need to this booking directly through the hotel phone line

Bringing my match forward by an hour with 1 hour's notice was out of order, particularly as it was at a different venue to where lunch was served.

The lack of a player's bar is problematic. Fitzwilliam staff were all rude, unavailable and couldn't care less.

The draws were a total farce with all guiding principles thrown out the window. No one has any faith in what is being done now. Draws are in no way related to playing standard.

. A pity that we had one player pull out which reduced number of games I got to play. But unavoidable. I know we use 2 clubs when needed. Is there an option to use a 3rd club if the numbers are growing and warranted?

I partly like these competitions because I get to see some good squash and catch up with people I've not seen in ages. I played all 3 of my matches in lenister club, I wouldn't have entered if I knew I'd play no matches in fitz, it would be good if one match was in fitz at least.

Really enjoyed taking part in this tournament. The facilities were excellent. It was great to play ladies in my own age group, mostly familiar faces I hadn’t seen in ages. The atmosphere was brilliant!
